Duties & Responsibilities

The Set-Up Technician reports to the Shift Supervisor and is responsible for starting and setting up of all new jobs to produce quality parts for our customers.

  • Set-up and start-up of molding machine, auxiliary equipment, tooling as specified on the set-up master.
  • Ensure processes are running within the tolerances of the set-up master.
  • Document all set-up changes outside the tolerances of the set-up master as per WI-4.9.5-C
  • Verify color feeders are set to set up master.
  • Verify products produced meet quality standards as outlined in the operator instructions and hand in first off to Cell Leader.
  • Notify Production Supervisor of processes outside of tolerances specified or nonconforming processes.
  • Responsible for completion of Daily Crane Inspection Checklist and Daily Mold Change Checklist.
  • Follow Lock-Out procedures

The Role

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Shipper is a key player in keeping our Logistics Department running, and ensuring we are able to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment.

1. Ensure the safe operation of lift trucks in the shipping/receiving area.

2. Pick product for shipments in FIFO order.

3. Ensure that staged shipments exactly match paperwork and meet customer requirements.

4. Ensure that loaded shipments exactly match paperwork and meet customer requirements.

5. Ensure that all Finished Goods are handled, moved and, stored in such a way as to prevent product damage or deterioration.

The Role

The Role

This position requires organization, lifting and walking. There is very little forklift driving with this position but forklift certification is required for those times when it is necessary. Our Huntsville, Alabama location is currently looking to fill the position of Paint Tech/Robot Programmer. The successful candidate should have experience in automotive or industrial spray painting of solvent and/or waterbased paint systems. You are capable of doing viscosity checks, air balance review, sludge system maintenance and filter changes. Some duties will include rack maintenance, pressure pot maintenance, hand gun rebuilds, Pmix function and teardown as well as assisting with paint trials. A minimum of 3 years of experience working directly on a paint line is essential. Basic Robotic experience is extremely necessary. 1.)Program robots - Fanuc, and Motoman preferred 2). Troubleshoot Paint application - Pmix/Promix issues (including re-build and maintenance of paint systems) 3). Troubleshoot and re-build paint guns 4). Maintain inventory of required spare components 5). Participate in Preventive Maintenance activities.

The successful candidate will report to the Tool Room supervisor and will perform the following duties:

  • Participate and perform Preventative Maintenance on the injection moulds;
  • Responsible for the accurate completion of any engineering changes, tool improvements and/or repairs as requested on new and existing injection moulds;
  • Responsible for the troubleshooting and repairs to hot runner and valve gate systems in the injection moulds;
  • Involved with the diagnostics and improvements to tooling and the processes;
  • Able to instruct apprentices, as required;
  • Responsible for the thorough inspection of new tooling.
  • Ability to work the night shift

An Ontario License for Mould Maker with additional injection mould work experience is required. Also, 5 years’ experience in a plastic injection manufacturing environment – automotive preferred. The Role

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Material Handler is a key player in keeping our production floor running, and ensuring we are able to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment. Cooperation with Machine Operators, Cell Leaders, Supervisors and Set-Up Technicians is essential for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Forklift operation
  • Keeping all production equipment supplied with the correct materials
  • Keeping Machine Operators supplied with components and packaging
  • Maintaining cleanliness on the plant floor
  • Grinding of scrap materials, including emptying and cleaning grinders
  • Transporting finished product to the appropriate staging area
  • Anticipating and preparing for all actions that prevent the occurrence of product, process and quality system non-conformance

Minimum Requirements

  • Forklift experience is required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attendance
