The Role

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Material Handler is a key player in keeping our production floor running, and ensuring we are able to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment. Cooperation with Machine Operators, Cell Leaders, Supervisors and Set-Up Technicians is essential for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Forklift operation
  • Keeping all production equipment supplied with the correct materials
  • Keeping Machine Operators supplied with components and packaging
  • Maintaining cleanliness on the plant floor
  • Grinding of scrap materials, including emptying and cleaning grinders
  • Transporting finished product to the appropriate staging area
  • Anticipating and preparing for all actions that prevent the occurrence of product, process and quality system non-conformance

Minimum Requirements

  • · Forklift experience is required
  • · Excellent organizational and time management skills

Mold Maintenance Technician

As a key team member at our plant, the Mold Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance on plastic injection molds to a defined schedule and execute repairs as required. This position also will provide support for new molds and write PM plans to maintain new and existing molds maintain inventory of all needed maintenance supplies and additionally keep track of spare stock of maintenance items. This role will provide guidance and training in the areas of mold maintenance safety procedures, preventive maintenance, machine and equipment in the tool room and provide specific instruction and leadership in task completion.

The successful individual will have runner and manifold knowledge, experience in valve gate system, core pull systems and mig/tig welding. Additionally, be able to operate tool room equipment. Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in mold maintenance and repairs, ability to read blue prints and be capable of completing projects with limited supervision.

This position is in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Realizar trabajos relacionados con la calibración y ajustes de instrumentos y equipos de medición de alta exactitud, en el Laboratorio de Metrología a fin de brindar un excelente servicio a los clientes.

Obligaciones y responsabilidades
  • 1. Mantener el área de CMM en un alto estado de limpieza y organización.
  • 2. Operar y programar el CMM, el ESCÁNER 3D y otros equipos de metrología de manera segura según las pautas del fabricante.
  • 3. Limpiar y mantener todo el CMM y otros equipos de metrología a un nivel que garantice resultados precisos y de acuerdo con las pautas del fabricante.
  • 4. Completar todas las pruebas según las solicitudes de prueba enviadas.
  • 5. Organizar y respaldar las calibraciones de los equipos según el software de gestión de medidores
  • 6. Mantener un cronograma de calibración que garantice un estado de calibración a tiempo.

The Maintenance Technician/Millwright will perform machinery repair and troubleshoot problems. Our plant equipment includes: plastic injection molding machines, robots and assembly fixtures.   • You will have an Electrical, HVAC or Maintenance degree or its equivalent in demonstrable experience, must have above average understanding and experience in electronics, a minimum of three-years experience. Industrial or machine maintenance experience, able to read and understand electric, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical drawings and capable of completing projects with limited supervision.
