A post-secondary education in a related technical field is essential. You are able to demonstrate superior working knowledge of Quality Systems, Quality Documentation, Problem Solving Techniques, Colour and AAR Approval, product launches and parts qualification/approval procedures and be able to analyze product quality issues and assist in identifying/implementing corrective action programs. | The successful candidate should have experience in automotive or industrial spray painting of solvent and/or waterbased 1K and 2K paint systems. You are capable of doing viscosity checks, air balance review, sludge system maintenance and filter changes. Some duties will include rack maintenance, pressure pot maintenance, hand gun rebuilds, Pmix function and teardown as well as being responsible for paint trials. You will manage all paint line activities, as well as create and maintain work instructions and procedures for the above. You will be trained in basic problem solving methodology ie; 8D, A3's etc. and will be responsible for creating internal and customer corrective action reports. You will be involved in the design and implementation of paint racks and masking jigs. A minimum of 5 years of experience working directly on a paint line is essential. Basic Robotic experience is necessary. | |||
